Almost 20 years ago, Joachim established &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge’s tree nursery with the aim of cultivating indigenous saplings for planting within the communities.
In the years following, he and his colleagues have planted tens of thousands of young trees, using these opportunities to educate and inspire a new awareness of their importance.
