Designed with sustainable architecture in mind, Moksha is tucked in a green tropical rainforest zone of Sri Lanka. A nature lover’s paradise, it offers eight rooms and three room types. Super Deluxe Rooms come with a queen bed, writing desk, sofa and coffee tables, balcony and bathtub, with views of the surrounding mountains. Deluxe Double Rooms feature a double bed, writing desk, balcony and outdoor seating, armchair, attached bathroom with shower cubicle and views of the mountain, Twin Rooms offer two separate beds.
Enjoy delicious Western-Asian fusion cuisine, fresh fruit juice and delicious Sri Lankan homemade bread. The fish, crabs, and prawns are taken off the morning catch and combine together into hearty, healthy and delicious meals that are hand-crafted for you by expert chefs.
Adventures abound in abundance with hikes and visits to waterfalls, tea estates, intrepid sports (rafting, canoeing, rock climbing) and rainforests – in addition to unique attractions such as prehistoric cave settlements and the ruins of a nearby ancient kingdom running back to the year 1521. It is also where the WW2-epic ‘Bridge on the river Kwai’, which won 7 academy awards and is regarded as one of the greatest films of all time, was filmed. Moksha is home to nature’s wonders if you look close enough, alive with birds, squirrels and fish.
