It's not goodbye, but see you later

The world is opening up and our wonderful guests are starting to travel again. While this is welcome news for the wild places that we support and the animals and people that call them home, it means that we need to do a little readjusting to make sure that we can fully focus on both our real-life guests and our virtual ones.

In order to do this, we will have to put our &Beyond Connect Virtual Experiences and daily WILDwatch Live safaris temporarily on hold as we find the right balance to ensure our guides, chefs and wellness practitioners can meet the expectation of all our online and offline guests.

We absolutely love bringing &Beyond into your homes, offices and schools, and promise we will do our best to ensure that this is not a final goodbye, but simply a ‘see you later’.

Becoming a Ranger

For every WILDchild who dreams of becoming a safari ranger

Our WILDchild virtual experience offers a sneak peek into our guides’ everyday toolkit.

Fantastic for schools, groups of friends, or even just a one on one session with your child (ages 6 to 10), this experience offers the chance to interact with one of our WILDchild rangers.

Your ranger will take what you have learnt from the latest recorded Becoming a Ranger episode and make those skills become a reality by taking you through a mission of your choosing that you can do at home.

The experience is from USD 200 for a group of ten links (with a maximum of 2 children per link). The class is conducted in English.

Go behind the scenes to learn how to become a ranger

Hip, Hippo, Hooray!

Go wild and celebrate your little one’s birthday with a WILDchild Virtual Party

This is the perfect opportunity for your child and a group of their friends to celebrate and interact with our rangers personally.
Let us help you co-ordinate the ultimate WILDchild party with these four easy steps:

Step 1: Book a WILDchild virtual experience

Book a virtual experience, at a date and time that suits you.

From $200, your child and up to 20 of his/her friends can have exclusive access to an &Beyond ranger. Larger groups can be quoted for on request. Perfectly suited for children aged 6-10 years old.

Step 2: Choose your child’s party mission

Based on the missions we have created from our Becoming a Ranger episodes, which teach all rangers-in-the-making everything they need to know on their mission to become a ranger; you can choose from a selection of missions (activities) and topics for little ones to partake in, on the special day, from the comfort of their own homes.

Step 3: Add a personal touch with an &Beyond party invitation

Invite you child’s friends to your virtual party with our personalised invitations. We will send you a personalised link, which will showcase your own message as well as fun-filled safari content such as fascinating children’s books, must-watch movies, and additional activities to keep busy little meerkats entertained.

Step 4: Know you are doing some good

Your little one’s party will give back to the children of Africa. Proceeds from each WILDchild virtual session will go towards funding an Africa Foundation Conservation Lesson.

Choose your mission

Making a plaster cast

Yes, we know you don’t have lions living in your backyard, but you do have birds, dogs, and other things that make tracks. Let’s show you how to make plaster moulds for easier identification.

Plant a tree to save the planet

Every WILDchild is a future eco-warrior in the making. Follow in Ranger Josh’s footsteps and save the planet by potting a tree.

Making campfire bread

Ranger Nikki showed us how guides make fires in the bush. Once a fire has been lit, what better way to celebrate than with delicious campfire bread?
