About the artist.
A celebration of light, texture and the relationship between people and the natural world.
An award-winning South African fine artist working primarily in oils, Joni-Leigh Doran is guided less by exact likeness than by the impression a place leaves behind. This shared way of seeing made our collaboration feel instinctive. Like &Beyond, she looks beyond the surface, seeking presence, emotion and the moments of connection that stay with you long after the experience has passed. Each original artwork has been painted in oil on canvas, capturing not only what was seen, but what was felt.
