Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya and transfer to Giraffe Manor
Arrive into the private VIP customs area at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. After a warm welcome by your superb &Beyond private guides and ground staff, a private transfer vehicle will sweep you away to Giraffe Manor.
Overnight at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi
As one of Nairobi’s most iconic retreats, the historic Giraffe Manor offers a truly enchanting opportunity to interact with its resident herd of Rothschild giraffe. In the mornings and evenings, the giraffe visit the Manor, casually interrupting mealtimes by poking their long necks into the windows of the dining area in search of a delicious treat.
Day 2-3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Transfer from Nairobi to the Masai Mara
Linger over a delectable breakfast and a likely visit from the curious Rothschild Giraffes that make their home here. A private transfer will be waiting to take you to Wilson airport for your private charter flight into open plains of the Masai Mara. On arrival the wide smiles of the &Beyond team will accompany you on a short game drive to the camp.
Spend 2 nights at Bateleur Camp in the Masai Mara
Tucked away at the foot of the scenic Oloololo escarpment (the rim of the Great Rift Valley), in Kenya’s iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, is the classic and elegant &Beyond Bateleur Camp. Here, amidst the reserve’s astounding year round concentration of animals, including the Great Wildebeest Migration, guests can experience an unsurpassed wildlife experience.
This romantic and totally private camp reflects the ambiance of Kenyan safaris of the ‘20s and ‘30s, and is situated where the famous final scene of the movie Out of Africa was filmed. Dawn arrives with a chorus of bird calls in the bush. Sip a steaming tea or coffee and watch the morning sun turn the plains golden and green. Float silently above the plains with the rising sun, hearing only the occasional soft roar of the whisper burners as the balloon pilot takes you up over the game-dotted landscape. Lean back and relax after a sumptuous bush breakfast, surrounded by nothing but the sweeping expanse of the Masai Mara.
Roll gently with the motion of the rumbling 4×4 as your expert guide positions the vehicle to provide the perfect photograph. Spend a golden afternoon immersed in the story behind the scenes of Big Cat Diaries with host and acclaimed documentarian Jonothan Scott. Witness the snorting, cavorting antics of the Great Migration’s wildebeest and zebra.
Day 4-5: Ngorongoro Crater
Private charter flight to Tanzania
Take a last look at the sweeping expanse of the Masai Mara below as your private charter flight departs for Tanzania via Migori or Jomo Kenyatta. Day 6: Victoria Falls

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast up on top of the world before your private vehicle transfers you to Manyara Airstrip. Your private charter flight awaits to fly you to Kilimanjaro International Airport to meet up with the private jet. Depart Kilimanjaro for the majestic Victoria Falls, where the &Beyond Matetsi River Lodge team will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge.

Spend a leisurely breakfast watching the sun play across the waters of the mighty Zambezi River. A private transfer will take you to Victoria Falls airport to board the private jet, bound for Kruger Mpumalanga Airport in Nelspruit ,South Africa.
Arrive at this gateway to the Kruger National Park for a short charter flight to Ngala Airstrip, where the beaming &Beyond team will welcome you to the wildlife-rich bushveld of South Africa.
Spend 3 nights at &Beyond Ngala Tented Camp
While &Beyond Ngala Tented Camp never lets you forget that you are in the wild, there is nothing primitive about this chic and contemporary camp. The romance of canvas, with hypnotic night sounds, and flickering lanterns mingle with the simple sophistication of polished wooden decks, textured fabrics and clean lines.
Experience the rare opportunity to participate in a Rhino Notching experience. Get up close and personal with these highly endangered giants of the African bush on this once in a lifetime adventure, to assist in the conservation of rhinos. Additional exciting activities include game drives, bush walks, hot air balloon safaris or a scenic helicopter flight over the lowveld.
Experience a rhino-notching adventure or spend the day with the Anti-Poaching tracker dog unit
Today you will embark on an adventure unlike any other. You will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join in on a rhino notching experience. As this is a sensitive project involving a live animal, the rhino notching team will choose either your second or third day to pursue the activity.
Here, you will have the opportunity to witness the capture and darting of either a black or a white rhino. A wildlife vet will locate and dart the rhino from the vantage point of a helicopter, whilst you, and the ground crew, follow in open 4×4 safari vehicles. Once darted, the veterinary team will notch the sleeping animal’s ear for research and security monitoring, as well as insert a microchip into the horn, enabling researchers to correctly identify different rhino on the reserve.
Should the rhino notching activity not be available, spend the day with the anti-poaching tracker dog unit learning how they fight the dangers of poaching each day, and spend time with these highly specialized canines in their daily routines.
Game drive
Explore the bush on twice-daily game drives that venture out in search of the Big Five, as well as a host of other fascinating creatures. Ngala is fortunate to have had regular sightings of the endangered African wild dog, so make sure to keep an eye out for this fascinating animal. The early morning game drive will leave in the cool grey of dawn, with the mysteries of the bush lying open before you.
Your experienced ranger and tracker team will discuss what you hope to see prior to the drive and will do their best to find all your favourite animals for you. After breakfast there is the option to set off on a bush walk and explore the finer details of your surroundings, from animal tracks to plants, insects and birds. Another game drive sets off in the late afternoon, continuing after dark for a glimpse into the nocturnal lives of Africa’s predators.
Day 10-11: Cape Town
Private jet transfer to Cape Town
Take off over a crowd of waving arms and smiling faces as you depart Ngala for Kruger Mpumalanga airport. The jet stands ready to take to you fabulous Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa. On arrival the magnificent &Beyond Cape Town team will be waiting, bursting with smiles, information and anecdotes of this magical city.
Spend 2 nights at One&Only Cape Town
Experience Cape Town by summitting Table Mountain by cable-car, take the time to spend the rest of your day exploring this iconic city at your leisure. Wind your way through a scenic tour of the Peninsula, taking in the sights of Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak, Boulders Beach with its adorable penguins, lunch at the historic Harbour House and a visit to Cape Point where two oceans collide. Return to your hotel by way of a scenic helicopter flip over iconic Table Mountain.
Alternatively, sample the finest among South Africa’s renowned wines on a expertly guided tour of the famed Cape Winelands. Enjoy a leisurely day roaming this scenic corner of Africa before returning to Cape Town via helicopter flight over the Peninsula. `
