A beautiful 14th-century fort incorporates two palaces and two temples within the walled fort. The design of Six Senses resort in Rajasthan reinterprets the gracious and regal ambiance of a bygone era dating back 700 years. There are 48 suites ranging from 753 square feet (70 square meters) to 3,014 square feet (280 square meters). The East Wing overlooks the countryside and the West Wing offers views to Barwara Village and beyond. Each accommodation (Sanctuary Suite, Fort Suite, Aravali View Suite, Terrace Suite, Burj Suite, Thakur Bhagwati Singh Suite, Rani Rajkumari Suite, Raja Man Singh Suite) is designed in contemporary Rajasthani style, while subtly incorporating state-of-the-art technology along with handmade mattresses, cotton bedding, and all the delights for a good night’s sleep.
Rajasthani-inspired fresh, sustainable cuisine highlighting Indian elements and flavors is the overarching theme of the several dining venues. Respecting the Eat With Six Senses approach, Six Senses Rajasthan restaurants source local products from the resort’s organic garden and farms in the nearby village. Enjoy Mardana Mahal, private dining areas housed within the former observation tower of the fort. Chefs create seasonal menus at the Specialty Restaurant. The Library offers a respite following a day spent on safari and serves up creative cocktails to cool the heat of a summer’s afternoon. The Inner Courtyard serves innovative finger food and light menus, served up poolside. Take romantic moments with Destination Dining and climb to the highest terrace for a panoramic bird’s eye view, or choose your spot under a blanket of stars.
Activities abound with cultural, heritage and art attractions, get active in the state-of-the-art fitness centre, balance your chakras in the areal yoga pavilion, and unwind in the steam, sauna, tepidarium, Swedana, cool pool and still pool – bliss!
