The stunning Kilindi Resort is situated in lush, tropical gardens sprawled along a picture-perfect stretch of beach. Each of the 15 intimate pavilions have been carefully designed and crafted to maximise light and space, with white wooden shutters on each of the vast, arched windows, none of which are fitted with glass to make the most of the seaside breezes. Each pavilion is set in its own private garden and features its own sparkling plunge pool, as well as a unique rainfall shower room.
Decadent meals are served either on the open-air terrace in the Main Pavilion or directly on the soft sands of the pristine beach. Venture to the elegant bar, which overlooks a vast infinity pool and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean itself. The flavours of the Spice Island permeate Kilindi’s menu, with fresh seafood dishes and internationally inspired cuisine infused with local spices and flavours.
The Kilindi Spa is the ideal place to indulge in a variety of relaxing couples treatments, while your private butler would be happy to help arrange from a variety of activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, water skiing, knee boarding and small sailing catamarans to spice farm tours, a Stone Town tour, catamaran and exotic sunset dhow cruises and day trips to Jozani Forest. You can also both simply relax on the beach sipping cocktails under palm trees.
What we love about Kilindi

- Take time to watch the local fishermen sailing in and out of the bay in their colourful traditional dhows each morning and evening to present their fresh catch to Kilindi’s chefs
- Indulge in a natural pedicure – walk through the white coral sand after using some handmade Zanzibari soaps to soothe your feet – bliss
