Set amongst the dappled shade of 500-year old ebony trees, Londolozi Pioneer Camp is hidden deep within an ancient forest. Private chalet suites adorned with historic memorabilia include air-conditioning, sumptuous ensuite bathrooms, inviting fireplaces and spectacular bush vistas. Just three luxury suites combine clean and modern line with historical touches like old photographs and gramophones.
Guests can savour mouth-watering meals in the dining area, around the boma campfire or in the bush under a starlit sky — the camp’s culinary delights are a combination of old family recipes and Pan-African fare. Those in need of relaxing spots to unwind can lounge around the inviting sitting room, sink into the cool depths of the sparkling swimming pool or enjoy the solitude of the beautiful gardens. Adventures include twice-daily game drives, interpretive bush walks and cultural visits to a Shangaan village.
What we love about Londolozi Pioneer Camp
- Spend some time editing your photos in the camp’s creative hub and ask your hosts to help you print out your favourites on canvas.
- If you’re travelling with your family, book out the entire camp as private bush home.
