Getting to the Galapagos Islands:
There are no international airlines that arrive directly to the Galapagos Islands. The main gateway to the Galapagos Islands is through Ecuador, specifically the cities of Quito or Guayaquil. International flights typically arrive at Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito or José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport in Guayaquil.
From Ecuador, you will need to book a domestic flight from either Quito or Guayaquil to the Galapagos Islands. Several airlines operate flights to the islands, and it’s advisable to book through &Beyond or your preferred Travel Specialist.
There are two main airports in the Galapagos Islands, Baltra Aiport (otherwise known as Seymour Airport) on Baltra Island and San Cristóbal Airport on San Cristóbal Island. Most international flights from the mainland arrive at Baltra Island.
