Having access to a private vehicle for your family safari means that you can tailor your stay around your family’s needs. The ultimate private family safari, choose your drive schedule and duration, and even what you and your family would like to do and see.
As part of our family safari package, when you book one of our selected family suites, family cottages or villas in South Africa, we will include the exclusive use of a private vehicle for the duration of your stay in the family room.
While game drive policies and limitations do apply to children of different ages (see conditions below) on a shared vehicle; when booking a private vehicle, children of any age may go on a game drive, with access to sightings being at the discretion of the guide, based on the behaviour of both child and animals.
Should you choose to stay in a triple room with your family instead of a family suite or cottage, a private vehicle can be booked at an additional cost (and subject to availability) at any of our lodges
