The 8-hour tour begins with an introductory talk about South Africa, before heading off to the township of Alexandra, awash with dated buildings and streets imbibed with African rhythm. Visit an orphanage and sample traditional staple fare, as you listen to the history of the oldest township in South Africa. The tour continues with a drive through Parktown, home of the Randlords, and Sandton, the richest square mile in Africa. Tour downtown Johannesburg, old mining houses and, towering colonial inspired buildings. End the day with author, Robin Binckes at the renowned Apartheid Museum.
