An unforgettable experience is whale watching around Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Hop aboard a boat on a three-hour excursion from Mossel Bay to Seal Island and head around Victoria Bay and Herold’s Bay, both offering excellent vantage points to scan the ocean. If you are in Knysna cruise past the Heads, another incredible place to spot whales showing off their acrobatic abilities. Each year the southern right and humpback whales leave their icy feeding grounds off Antarctica and migrate to mate and calve in the warmer waters of the Southern African coastline.
