What do I need to know about the Seychelles?

Important tips when travelling to Seychelles

Travel Advice

As the Seychelles islands are blessed with a year-long warm, tropical climate, it’s always a good time to visit, although different times of year may be better suited to your particular interests.

You will be required to declare all types of foreign currency when entering/exiting Seychelles and therefore we advise that you only change money as required. Most international airports have banks where money can be changed and facilities are usually available at reputable hotels and lodges.

Seychelles is a very secure destination. As with travel in all foreign countries, it is advised that you keep an eye on your personal belongings.

Most types of film material are readily available in all major centres and holiday resorts. Please be sensitive when photographing people. The scenery in Seychelles makes for excellent photography.

Passport & Visa Requirements

There are no visa requirements to enter Seychelles. However, a passport, return and onward ticket, proof of accommodation and sufficient funds for the duration of your stay must be shown in order to obtain immigration clearance at the Seychelles International Airport.

It is imperative to check any additional requirements with the relevant Seychellois embassy/consulate. Should you have further queries please contact us.
