Your journey begins in Kathmandu. Explore the ancient art, culture, and history of Nepal in the capital city and surrounds on a guided tour of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. Visit the revered Hindu temple, Pashupatinath Temple as well as one of the holiest Buddhist stupas outside of Tibet, Boudhanath Stupa.
From Kathmandu, helicopter to Lukla before lacing up your hiking boots to begin a trek like no other. Over the next five days enjoy breathtaking views of the mighty Himalaya, including Mt Everest and surrounds, as you hike from Lukla to Monjo, then onto Namche, Tashinga, and Pangbache.
Encounter houses of worship and venerable temples as well as an array of tiny villages and mountain towns. Cross over suspension bridges and flowing streams, pass through magical forests, and carefully climb mountainsides. Pashupatinath Temple: One of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath Temple is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath (Lord Shiva) and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodhnath Stupa) is the largest stupa in Nepal as well as one of the holiest Tibetan Buddhist shrines outside of Tibet. Dating back to the 6th century, the stupa sits at the centre of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and is a revered symbol of Buddhism. The stupa is located on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.
