Extreme power in motion
After not much convincing, my guests and I decided to jump back into the vehicle after breakfast to go see if we could find the leopard that one of the other rangers had seen earlier that morning on game drive. He told us that there was an impala carcass nearby. We first saw the female leopard deep inside a bush, with not a great view of her. But after sitting and waiting for a while, we were well rewarded when she came out of the bush, fed on the impala for a while, and then dragged it back into the shade in a spectacular demonstration of a leopard’s true strength.
