Seeing three large mammal species interacting is always an extraordinary experience, to see this unfold right in front you from the deck of the lodge is extra special. Here, an unusually large group of hippo cluster together in the drying water in front of Xaranna where they become harassed and chased by a transient pack of wild dogs. In the middle of this chaos, enter a herd of thirsty elephants who also prove unhappy to have a pack of pesky predators in the mix and demonstrate their irritability to complete the scene of mayhem.
