The weird and the wonderful
During our last night on safari, our incredible tracker Menzi noticed the movement of two cheetahs far in the distance, right where we had just left a relaxed black rhino. The rhino sighting was rare and special enough, but when we circled back we found that he and the two cheetahs were cautiously curious of each other and exploring the hillside together. They made their way over to a marula tree right as the sky became a beautiful pink sunset. This was the perfect visual of Phinda’s successful conservation efforts, all in one striking moment.
