Built in 1880, as the landowner’s house, the Casa Real Hotel was lovingly converted into one of the most prestigious hotels in Chile, in 1996. This stunning Pompeian-style hotel effortlessly integrates modern convenience and comfort with beautifully restored buildings, such as the neo-Gothic chapel. The hotel’s 16 ensuite rooms have a European glamour with soaring ceilings, sumptuous furniture and French doors that open onto a charming grassy courtyard with a stone fountain. Reminiscent of a bygone era, the hotel is surrounded by ornate gardens, bold statues and a variety of colourful flowers. Hidden amidst the gardens are a sparkling swimming pool, two tennis courts, a sauna and a gym.
The restaurant, Dona Paula, offers outstanding Chilean cuisine perfectly paired with world-famous Santa Rita wines, and delicious cocktails and high tea are served on the wide, shady verandas. From outstanding service to the charm of history-filled rooms, the Casa Real Hotel provides an unforgettable stay.
