The latest ship to join the Assam Bengal Navigation Company’s fleet, the ABN Charaidew II expert and modern design boasts an extra-shallow draught and lower profile, in comparison to other more conventional designs, allowing the river vessel to cruise effortlessly and quietly at incredible speeds, making for an exceptionally intimate and immersive river sailing experience.
Responsibly designed, the vessel’s interior reflects a sense of homecoming to Assam, with touches of colonial elegance, brought to life by traditional Assamese designs on hand-woven cotton fabrics. Featuring a comfortable saloon and bar, dining room, a big open sundeck, a gym, and a small spa on-board which offers a wide range of treatments, the Charaidew is the epitome of luxury river cruising.
Accommodation includes 18 air-conditioned, spacious cabins, comprising two Deluxe Cabins and 12 Twin / Double Cabins on the upper deck with four additional Cabins on the main deck. All standard cabins have beautiful French balconies, while the two Deluxe Cabins each have a private balcony. Unpack your suitcases in the liberal cupboard space and under-bed storage, and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the river through large sliding glass windows.
