Set up in a camping spot, high on the bank of the legendary Zambezi River, Zambezi Expeditions offer offers guests an authentic and exclusive safari experience in an unmatched location. The camp consists of just six spacious Meru-style safari tents, each well spaced under the shade of the huge acacia trees along the riverbank. The ensuite tents include luxury, detailed furnishings, flush toilets and alfresco hot bucket showers. A well serviced mess tent with a dining and seating area form part of this stylish camp, and delicious meals are either served here, or taken outside under the shade of a large tree. To ensure outstanding service the camp has a dedicated team including a chef, waiter and tent staff, as well as a highly qualified and experienced safari guide.
Guests can look forward to game drives along the flood plain in an open 4×4 vehicle with sightings of eland, elephant, African wild dogs, water buck, large herds of buffalo, kudu, lion and leopard. The camp also has its own selection of Canadian-style canoes, allowing guests to spend a memorable day exploring the river by canoe, followed by a sumptuous picnic lunch on a sandbank.
