One of the few camps in the breathtaking Hwange National Park, The Hide Safari Camp offers its guests the opportunity to explore one of Zimbabwe’s most prized safari destinations. Guests can unwind in beautifully-furnished tents boasting ensuite bathrooms and private verandas. Verandas look out onto a nearby waterhole — keep your binoculars on hand, as elephants, lions and rhinos can often be seen slaking their thirst.
After an exhilarating day of game viewing, guests can retreat to the cool refuge of the camp’s swimming pool. Swap the day’s experiences with the host and other guests over delectable meals savoured al fresco or in the elegant dining room. Adventures include twice-daily game drives, guided bush walks and exceptional game viewing in the seclusion of the camp’s hides.
What we love about The Hide Safari Camp
- Spend an evening in the camp’s “Dove’s Nest”, ideally cradled in a large leadwood tree, and unwind under a starlit sky.
- While away an afternoon in one of the camp’s underground hides — the game viewing from these secluded spots is spectacular.
- Watch as a dozen elephants invade the watering hole in single file.
