Authentic and intimate, Old Mondoro Bush Camp creates a truly African bush atmosphere that exudes charm and charisma. Overlooking a maze of islands inhabited by hippo, the camp is tucked into a shady acacia grove that frequently attracts elephant. Constructed of canvas and natural materials, the camp carefully blends into its remote and beautiful location.
Just four guest rooms boast an open and adventurous feel, with canvas blinds that are rolled down at night. Comfortable king-sized beds are elegantly draped in mosquito nets, while each room features ensuite flush toilets and outdoor showers, and bathtubs that overlook the serene banks of the Zambezi River. Shaded timber sun decks offer generous daybeds ideal for watching wildlife on the river banks. Game drives, bush walks, river safaris, canoeing and fishing expeditions explore the magnificent surroundings.
