Named after the English explorer Samuel Baker, the first European to view the Murchison Falls, Baker’s Lodge lies on the southern bank of the mighty Nile River. Sitting directly on the banks of the river, this intimate, traditional lodge gazes out from among offers large shady trees onto magnificent views of the river and its many animal visitors. Just eight luxury cottages are built on raised wooden decks to take full advantage of cool breezes and spectacular river views. Spacious and stylish, the thatched cottages feature, customised solid wooden furniture and elegant, hand-crafted accessories.
Delicious meals are served on the raised dining deck or directly on the banks of the river, with the soft murmuring of the river waters as a background track. In between activities in the Murchison Falls National Park, guests can while away the hours in the thatched lounge or bar, or cool off in the refreshing swimming pool.
