Situated in the cooler highlands of the renowned Selous Game Reserve is Beho Beho, an intimate wilderness retreat that offers its guests exceptional wildlife encounters through a variety of safari adventures. Spacious stone and thatch bandas are designed to catch the cooling breezes and offer a unique open-air experience, separated from the outdoor with just a tented curtain that is drawn across the veranda at night. No comfort has been spared on the interior, with deep chairs, king sized beds, elegant Persian carpets and telescopes for private game spotting.
Meals at Beho Beho are served in a variety of breath-taking locations, from the camp’s dining areas to out in the bush, beneath the stars. A sparkling swimming pool and an inviting bar area with a billiards table add to guest delight. Bush dining, picnics or private dining in the Eagle’s Nest can be arranged. Adventures include game drives, walking safaris (with walks to the hot springs of Maji Moto) and boating safaris on Lake Tagalala.
What we love about Beho Beho Camp
- Spend a minimum of four nights and book the Treehouse experience – an adventurous walking safari that culminates in a night in a luxury treehouse cradled in the boughs of a Leadwood tree and overlooking a dry river bed.
- Take a step back in town and order your favourite sundowner as you indulge in a game of billiards before dinner.
