Little Kulala sits within the 37,000-hectare Kulala Wilderness Reserve, surrounded by the stark beauty and pastel tones of the Namib Desert. The lodge feels serene and sheltering, with natural textures, neutral colours and soft light allowing the landscape to remain central.
The eleven thatched kulalas blend into the desert setting, each with elegant interiors, a private plunge pool and a rooftop skybed reached by an internal staircase. These thoughtful details make the experience feel both private and closely connected to place.
The main guest area includes a library, wine cellar, craft boutique, lounge and dining space beneath thatch. Days begin early with guided drives to Sossusvlei or unfold through nature drives and walks in the reserve, with ballooning and scenic helicopter flights available at an additional cost.
