Skeleton Coast Safaris offers an adventurous way to experience one of Namibia’s most hauntingly beautiful regions. Travelling by private plane and Land Rover, guests move through dramatic desert and coastal landscapes, with the chance to encounter desert-adapted elephant, endangered black rhino, unusual flora and striking geological formations.
Accommodation is spread across three fully equipped tented desert camps. The first lies in the lower reaches of the Huab River, the second in the Hoarusib Valley, and the third near the Namibian border, overlooking the Kunene River. Each camp is simple, remote and designed to keep the focus on solitude, scale and the raw beauty of the desert.
