The superb Villa is sprawled in the secluded Namibian wilderness of Okonjima. The villa is made up of the Main House and private thatched suites. The Main House offers spacious ensuite bedrooms, each boasting an indoor and outdoor bush-shower as well as a beautiful bath-with-a-view. A spacious sitting room and dining area with open wood-burning fireplace is a welcoming space for guests to unwind. A worthy mention is the magnificent infinity pool, surrounded by red teak decking, while a walkway to an open, shaded ‘sala’ is the ideal spot for birdwatching and afternoon naps. A private host and chef will attend to guests’ every need.
The villa is located next door to the AfriCat Foundation, an organization committed to the conservation of Namibia’s large carnivores. Adventures include cheetah tracking, leopard viewing, birdwatching, nature walks and Bushman Trails.
What we love about Okonjima Villa
- Catch a glimpse of a day in the life of a bushman. Learn how the Bushmen made rope, fire and traps and lived in harmony with nature.
- Energetic early birds can join a guided mountain walk which includes the identification of animal spoor, insider’s knowledge on the local people and spectacular views.
- Ever wondered what those noises are at night? After dinner, head to a hide for a visit and observe nocturnal animals such as honey badger and porcupine as they go about their business.
