Ongava Lodge is situated in the privately-owned Ongava Game Reserve on the slopes of the Ondundozonananandana Hills. The spacious and extremely comfortable chalets boast ensuite bathrooms with baths, separate showers and his-and-hers washbasins. They are air-conditioned, and feature a personal bar and private elevated deck overlooking the vast plains of the reserve.
A large lapa with a high thatched roof and cool slate floors houses the bar, spacious dining area and sitting rooms with a panoramic view of a waterhole. There is also an inviting pool and a small chapel on the property. Adventures include twice-daily game drives into Etosha National Park, where a huge variety of game may be viewed at various waterholes, evening game drives, which give guests an opportunity to view the shy and elusive nocturnal species, and nature walks with a professional guide.
