Desert Rhino Camp lies in one of Namibia’s most rugged and compelling wilderness areas. Set within Damaraland, between Etosha and the Skeleton Coast, it looks out across vast desert plains and mountain horizons. This is a place of space, stillness and patient watching.
The camp is simple, comfortable and deeply connected to its surroundings. Spacious Meru-style tents include en suite bathrooms, comfortable beds and private verandas, allowing each stay to feel open to the landscape. The main area brings together a relaxed restaurant, sitting room, bar and swimming pool, all oriented towards uninterrupted desert views.
Days are shaped by the land. Guests set out on game drives, birdwatching excursions and rhino tracking experiences, with the chance to search for desert-adapted wildlife and rare Hartmann’s mountain zebra. Cultural visits to a Himba village offer a deeper sense of the people and traditions of this region. By evening, the camp returns to firelight, mountain silhouettes and dinner beneath a wide Namibian sky.
