&Beyond Baines’ Camp sits beneath a canopy of ebony trees, surrounded by the waterways and floodplains of the Okavango Delta. Named after the 19th-century explorer and artist Thomas Baines, the camp has a romantic, intimate atmosphere, with just five suites designed for privacy and connection to the landscape.
The spacious suites feature four-poster beds, private bathrooms with copper baths, indoor and outdoor showers, and expansive decks overlooking the wilderness. Each suite has a private plunge pool and the option of a traditional star bath experience beneath the African sky, creating moments that feel wonderfully personal.
The main guest area is warm and inviting, with a dining space, lounge and library overlooking the floodplain. Days unfold through game drives, walking safaris, mokoro excursions and boat trips, depending on seasonal water levels. Evenings are spent around the fire, dining beneath the stars or enjoying the quiet magic of the Delta as it changes with the light.
