Boasting spectacular views of a lagoon by the same name, Camp Xakanaxa rests on the banks of the Khwai River. Twelve luxury safari tents are situated on raised decks and cooled by a unique sprinkler system. An elevated, thatched guest area is positioned to overlook the Khwai River and lagoon, and is made up of an open-air lounge with large comfortable couches and an elegant dining area where superb meals are served. A plunge pool and sun deck overlook the Delta waterways, giving guests the opportunity to spend a lazy day in the sun.
Adventures include game drives, birdwatching and water safaris by mokoro (traditional dugout canoes) that explore the sinuous channels of the Okavango Delta.
