During my 19 years in Travel and Tourism I have been privileged enough to work in some of the most magnificent places Africa has to offer, from the Okavango Delta to the Greater Kruger Park and the Serengeti. My years as a lodge manager, living in as well as travelling extensively in Africa, has given me a great wealth of knowledge, which I use to plan my guests’ dream safaris. I couldn’t ask for a better job than making people’s dreams come to life!
Countries visited
I have travelled extensively to South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, and Botswana.
A few things I love travelling with
A decent camera, good pair of binoculars, comfortable pair of shoes, hand sanitizer and a good book.
Favourite destinations
Tanzania – “Karibu”, the welcome and hospitality in Tanzania is world-renowned and the first thing you encounter when arriving at Kilimanjaro. Next, the scenery, people, the animals, and the diversity, makes this one of my favourite places on earth. Having lived in the Serengeti for two years, it has a special place in my heart and all my guests leave Tanzania, with amazing memories, good friends and a tear in their eye.
Another favourite is the Okavango Delta, a vast ecosystem created as the Okavango River flows into the parched Kalahari Desert. The diversity of adventures such as boat rides, fishing, mokoro excursions, game drives and guided walks abound; combined with dazzling landscapes and a rich wildlife, makes it a must-see on a safari wish list. For all the seasoned Africa fanatics, the raw wildness of Zambia is a must! Known for an abundance of wildlife, sparkling rivers and vast open spaces, Zambia offers truly unforgettable safaris in the wilds of Africa.
