Without hesitation, every morning I can wake up and say that I love my job! I’ve worked for &Beyond since 2001 and have been blessed to travel extensively through Africa, having her magic unfold for me. In the planning stages it’s knowing about all the magical moments that await a first time guest – yet holding these secrets close to myself; sharing only snippets of the excitement that awaits you! Knowing that my love of Africa, and its pristine wilderness in particular, will become your love of Africa is one of the greatest joys for me! Planning your journey with me is where your adventure really begins. Upon your return home, I love reading how Africa came alive for you; how somehow it lives within you now; how it’s changed you…for that is the one thing that Africa always seems to do – creep under your skin and leave you longing to return.

Favourite destinations
&Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge, where my husband and I enjoyed our 10 year wedding anniversary and renewed our vows – and because everyone needs to experience this barefoot beach paradise on a private island off the coast of Zanzibar. Lazy days spent relaxing and soaking up the beauty of a magical place.
The mountain gorillas in either Uganda or Rwanda was a life changing experience for me. There’s nothing like sitting amongst a family of habituated gorillas and having them gaze at you – feeling as though they see inside your soul – absolutely life-changing!
