Passionate about people and taking care of their interests, the many years working with &Beyond has been an incredibly rewarding adventure. Placing respect and confidentiality above all else, I have built a trusting relationship with those I have worked with and will continue to do so. I have a passion for Africa, its people and its extraordinary landscapes on this unique continent. Every time I embark on a journey, I think I have seen it all, but then I experience something new and my appreciation and respect is further heightened.

I have travelled extensively in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique and Mauritius.

Favourite destinations
I love East Africa and how underdeveloped it is and apart from a few big cities, small towns and the lodges, the land is pretty much the way it was over 100 years ago. Wild animals, cattle, goats and people share the terrain and that alone is such a unique experience. The Great Migration and other wildlife are able to roam around and follow the rains. It almost makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time, adding a mysterious romance to this iconic destination. Another highlight for me is Zimbabwe, so rich in wildlife and natural beauty, it is a destination to be experienced over different seasons. Cape Town never has a dull moment with the mountains, iconic Winelands and not-to-be-missed places like Cape Point. However, it is the cosmopolitan atmosphere that entices you to come back for more.
I also have to add, the oceans and its creatures have always mesmerised me. We know so little about the world under the ocean, but with a programme like Oceans Without Borders, at out island lodges, I have an opportunity to be part of the mysterious world. Firstly, the reefs are still looked after and the daily opportunities to explore just makes you want to return. Secondly, the lodges are so well situated and with each trip you are able to create more unforgettable memories.
