As a child, my favourite holiday destination had always been the Kruger National Park. At &Beyond we always say that a day in the bush is better than a day at school. Nowadays, I enjoy nothing more than travelling with my husband and two sons. I have extensive first-hand knowledge of lodges, hotels and guest houses across South Africa, as well as Southern Africa, East Africa and India. I’ve personally travelled to all these destinations and stayed at most of our lodges. This makes it easy for me to recommend specific areas and activities. I have a thorough understanding of the logistics involved in making sure you have a seamless, life-changing experience.

Favourite destinations
I love Cape Town, my hometown and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I love the scenery of the open plains, mountains and the Mara River of the Masai Mara. It is just spectacularly beautiful and there’s excellent game viewing year-round. Botswana is another highlight for me, and with the low density of camps and lodges you are able to get a more intimate experience, and the diversity of Chobe, Savuti and the Okavango Delta makes for a magical game viewing experience.
