Having grown up in Africa, Alison Nolting is a native Zimbabwean with a passion for this diverse continent. Inspired by all things safari, she moved to the USA with her husband in 1991 and together they established The Africa Adventure Company. Spanning over 30 years, they offer customised safari trips to over 14 countries, inviting travellers to explore the adventure and splendour of Africa.
She has a wealth of memorable safari experiences and highlights include her stay as one of the first visitors to the Grumeti Reserve and Sayari Private Game Concession in the early 2000’s, close encounters with elephants and wild dogs in Mana Pools, joining an exclusive team of researchers to collar a lioness in Hwange National Park and travelling with her family to different countries on over 18 trips.
Deeply committed to sustainable tourism and eco-conservation, Alison currently serves on the board of Safari Professionals and Bushlife Conservancy. She is passionate about ongoing education and sponsors Tanzanian children and Zimbabwean women as they complete high school to pursue a career in the field of tourism.
