We had a fantastic and adventurous trip. Each part was so different.
Rwanda – the gorillas and the lodge were fantastic. This was unbelievable. We saw gorillas on both days – about 15 the first day and about 20 on the second trek. Golden Monkey trekking was pretty fun also. The gorillas were truly the highlight of the whole trip and a once in a lifetime adventure!
Zimbabwe – Matetsi River Lodge was gorgeous. The Victoria Falls were also pretty. I think it was actually nice to see them during the dry time so that there wasn’t as much spray and you got more of a feel for them rather than just a wall of continuous water.
