Forest Therapy, or Shinrin Yoku, is the soulful practice of being in nature, which allows us to awaken our senses and reconnect with others, our natural surrounds, and ourselves.
While most of the physiological benefits (such as the lowering of stress hormones, boosting the immune system and decreasing our blood pressure) come from the simple exposure to our natural environment, a guided Forest Therapy session follows a standard series of invitations that help participants reconnect, slow down and awaken their senses.
