Safari game drive

The essence of safari game drive

Keep your camera and binoculars at the ready! As the second largest wildlife sanctuary in the world, you can encounter a wonderful diversity of species on twice-daily game drives within Kafue National Park.

The park is home to the Big Five and is known for its thriving leopard population. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the rare blue duiker in the thickets of the park and, as you travel to the woodlands, catch a glimpse of roan, sable and hartebeest antelope. Watch the curious antics of large pods of hippo as they wallow in the river and delight in a cheetah sighting in the beautiful open plains. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will point out the many fascinating attractions of the park, which make it one of the must-see safari destinations of Zambia.
