Chris Wallace is drawn to people who live at the edges of convention. A writer, photographer and author, he explores the intersections of style, culture and character. His biography, Twentieth-Century Man: The Wild Life of Peter Beard, was published in 2023 with Ecco Press. It is an exuberant tale tracing the life of the iconic photographer and naturalist whose world blurred art, fashion and wilderness. Previously Chris served as US Editor of MR PORTER and Executive Editor of Interview magazine. He is also an avid film photographer. When not writing or taking photos, he’s usually re-reading old Poirot stories in an airport bar somewhere.
