Beautiful brotherhood “love story” of two cheetah brothers reunited at Masai Mara, Kenya. One of the cheetah brothers went missing for a few days near the border of Kenya / Tanzania in the Masai Mara, on the Kenyan side. Nobody had seen him anywhere. The rangers thought that he had been killed by a pride of lions. We saw the cheetah brother on the Kenyan side looking for his sibling, calling desperately and continuously. The next morning we heard on the radio that the brother had been seen in the Serengeti on the Tanzanian side. We went to the same place as the previous day and saw the cheetah sleeping under a tree. The rangers said on the radio that the lost cheetah brother had been seen with a new “girlfriend” in Tanzania and they had stayed together for a few days mating. From far away, we watched the brother come running back from Serengeti into the Masai Mara. He surprised his sleeping brother with his arrival. The reunited brothers played together and rolled around with one another. They also marked territory and reestablished their bond.
