Sossusvlei Lodge sits at the entrance to Namib-Naukluft National Park, blending into its desert surroundings with easy access to the wider Sossusvlei landscape. Views stretch across open plains dotted with camelthorn trees, towards the ridges of the Naukluft and Tsaris Mountains.
Accommodation includes standard and superior units, as well as a Junior Suite with its own splash pool and generous living space. Each room is designed for comfort after time in the desert, with air-conditioning, an en suite bathroom and a patio that keeps the landscape close.
The restaurant opens onto a large al fresco terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole, while the Acacia Beer Garden offers a shaded place to pause beneath an old camelthorn tree. Days can be shaped around guided excursions, sundowner drives, quad buggy nature drives, scenic flights or simply time at the pool and sundowner deck, looking out towards Elim Dune.
