Great Plains Selinda Adventure Trail An authentic African safari experience

The spirit of Great Plains Selinda Adventure Trail

The Selinda Adventure Trail is an epic five night/four day journey that entails a traditional canoe and walking safari. This up close and personal 40 kilometre journey follows the course and explores the side channels of the Selinda Spillway. To maximise the experience, the trail is run at a leisurely pace with stops along the way to allow guests to discover the many species of wildlife from their canoe or on foot.

All four nights are spent in fly camps along the Selinda Spillway at pre-arranged sites. The camps are set up by experienced staff, and here guests can enjoy screened hot and cold bucket showers, comfortable tents, sundowners at sunset, and delicious, wholesome meals around the campfire.

For total peace of mind, an armed, qualified walking guide as well as an experienced tracker, remain with guests at all times as they enjoy an authentic wilderness experience.
