&Beyond allowed me to fulfil a childhood dream when I qualified as a safari guide in 2008. This provided me with unique opportunities to work and explore some of the most incredible, pristine wilderness areas this continent has to offer. As a Travel Specialist, I am able to harness this on-the-ground knowledge (a total of 14 years’ experience in the industry) and combine it with a passion for sharing my love for travel and planning seamless and detail-orientated safari experiences with guests from around the world.

In Africa, I have travelled extensively within South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Swaziland, Mozambique, Mauritius, Tanzania, Kenya, and Rwanda. Outside of Africa, I have visited the Maldives, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, USA, UK, Italy, Germany, UAE, and India.

Favourite destinations
&Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve holds a special place in my heart as it is where I first qualified as a guide; and was based at for 7-years. I was also very fortunate to get married here. This reserve was also the first of the &Beyond portfolio and offers incredible diversity as well as ground-breaking research and conservation initiatives.
For the ultimate in bare-foot luxury, look no further than &Beyond Mnemba Island. This exclusive island paradise is where I proposed, and where we returned to honeymoon due to the incomparable experience.
The Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda offers what is potentially the most unforgettable wildlife encounter – Gorilla Trekking. It offers an incredible opportunity for close observations of these rare and enigmatic species.
Finally, for something different, I love the pure remoteness of Ruaha National Park in Tanzania. Harbouring what is a tenth of the world’s lion population, as well as huge herds of elephants and buffalo, this is a great place to avoid the crowds and experience Africa in its purest form.
