I notice the wildflowers (weeds to some) and it reminds me of these beautiful words by Gerard Manley Hopkins: “Let them be left, wildness and wet. Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.”
Working with &Beyond has been a wonderful experience, especially being able to immerse yourself with a company that lives their ethos “Care of the Land, Care of the Wildlife and Care of the People”. The small things also count at &Beyond. Crafting my guests’ magical moments, in magnificent destinations, is what I do best. Each day brings a new and exciting opportunity to fulfil my guests’ dreams.

Favourite destinations
Within Africa it is difficult to choose as the landscapes and experiences are so diverse. If I had to select from each region, I would say the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is high up on my list. I have never seen so much wildlife in one day. The views are also awe-inspiring. South Africa’s Cape Town and Garden Route are a completely different scenic experience and hold a special place in my heart. With so much variety, it makes it possible to revisit Africa again and again without getting bored.
