Trek amidst one of the world’s most pristine ice-lands
Discover more of Antarctica as you embark on a hiking adventure, enveloped by the serenity of untouched landscapes. Accompanied by expert guides, each boasting a wealth of knowledge and incredible passion for this extraordinary continent that very few have had the courage to explore, let your adventurous spirit run wild as you traverse the unknown. Walk over spongy tundra, crusty snow, or sandy beaches in remote areas, shared only with the creatures that inhabit it.
Hiking locations are specifically selected and range from short strolls across ice-strewn beaches and technical climbs to the top of lookout points, to longer treks covering several kilometres (miles) over rock and snow, providing you with the opportunity to witness wildlife up-close. Hiking excursions may last from two to three hours, with plenty of time to stand back and admire your incredible polar surroundings, as well as learn more from your experienced guides.
No prior hiking experience is necessary, but a moderate level of fitness is recommended, as guests should be capable of entering and exiting the zodiac, as well as feeling comfortable walking on uneven terrain. Hiking options can be tailored to all interests and fitness levels.
