The museum serves as the world’s chief museum covering 20th century South Africa. The 3-hour tour highlights the rise and fall of apartheid, covering 22 sub-exhibitions and features pieces curated by multi-disciplinary film-makers, historians and designers, showcasing artifacts that illustrate the nations dark past and the great strides taken to overcome the trauma.
