A guest entering and exiting Botswana must have a valid PCR negative test no older than 72 hours. Additional to the obligatory negative PCR test result that guests must present, another rapid test will be performed free of charge on arrival. Guests will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry and those symptomatic will be required to undertake mandatory testing and possible isolation and/or quarantine.
Guests will not be required to quarantine on arrival if they present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 no older than 72 hours. Children up to the age of 11 are exempt from the test requirement to enter Mozambique. Guests who do not present a negative COVID-19 will need to self-isolate for 14 days.
All arriving guests must present a negative SARSCOV-2 PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test result no older than seven days from the sample date. Guests will be required to complete a short health questionnaire which will need to be submitted, together with a full travel itinerary, to the Health Ministry staff on arrival at the airport. The health questionnaire forms can be obtained at here. Guests must ensure they have adequate travel insurance which covers both medical expenses and potential unexpected hotel stays in case of quarantine. Children below five years of age entering Namibia will not be required to produce a negative COVID-19 result.
All nationalities are welcome, subject to visa requirements and Covid-19 protocols. Travelers must produce a negative PCR test, recognised by the World Health Organisation, and no older than 72 hours before the date of travel. This must be issued by a recognised laboratory with its name indicated on the test results. While digital forms of the test are being accepted at ports of entry, we recommend also traveling with a printed certificate. Children under five are not required to present a PCR test. An obligatory health questionnaire, which can be downloaded here, must be completed not more than 2 days ahead of departure to South Africa (also for those transit guests, who need to collect luggage before continuing on their journey). Guests from all countries must be in possession of a medical certificate showing a negative PCR COVID-19 test received no more than 96 hours before arrival in Kenya, this includes children of 5 years old and above. Kenya does not require COVID-19 testing before departure, however, all guests departing Kenya must ensure they know and abide by the COVID-19 testing requirements at the destination and /or transit points. All international guests arriving into Kenya need to complete the International Travelers Health Surveillance Form. The form can be found here

Guests entering Tanzania will be subjected to enhanced screening for COVID-19 infection including a rapid antigen test at their own cost.
From 11 October 2021, Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe have been removed from the UK Red List, which means that travellers no longer need to quarantine on arrival or when returning home to the UK.
