Humans of andBeyond

Everyone you meet has a story to tell. Ain’t that the truth?! And whether it’s the countless dedicated, long-serving employees that have been with &Beyond since our inception back in 1991 or the extraordinary people that continue to join our teams regularly across three different continents, we want to share their heart-warming and motivating stories with the world!

The stories are endless and they are inspiring. There are senior executive chefs that started out in the scullery, an expert head butler that was once homeless, a general manager that was originally employed as a porter, a regional manager whose humble beginnings started in a traditional Maasai boma, a fully-qualified PADI Divemaster that started as a dishwasher and never lost sight of his dreams, a senior ranger that couldn’t speak English and had never even owned a pair of shoes when he joined &Beyond.

These are tales of personal growth, success and sheer determination. They are triumphs of the human spirit. They are the Humans of &Beyond … and we hereby salute them.
