The spirit of Uman Lodge
Perched atop a magnificent crag, overlooking the Espolón and the Futaleufú rivers, Uman Lodge is a modern boutique lodge, set in a stunningly designed building. Featuring native timber and locally sourced stone, the lodge boasts huge floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views over the valley and rivers below. Nestled in a wood of Dombey’s beeches and cypresses, 15 spacious suites feature a living room and a terrace, and come with a flat-screen TV, individual controlled central heating and air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and in-room safe. A huge Master Suite with a living room, ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and extra bathroom is also an option, and comes with a Nespresso coffee machine.
After a busy day on the river or in the mountains, guests can retire to the spa and wellness centre, with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi. The Uman restaurant serves a delicious range of menus based on the finest locally sourced ingredients, many from the estate’s own farms, and a unique combination of Patagonian flavours. Delight in a number of exciting fun-filled adventures, including excellent walking options with trails on the grounds of the farm that cross hills, grasslands, and rivers, fly-fishing, agritourism, (where you can collaborate with the tasks of the farm), bird-watching, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
What we love about Uman Lodge
- Savour the best Chilean wines in the cellar where guests are offered a selection of food and wine pairings, designed by a renowned chef and sommelier
- Meander around the surrounding area and catch a glimpse of the rare huemul, the so-called ”ghost of Patagonia”, the native deer of the region
- Enjoy the outdoors, in the rustic Quincho (BBQ area), which serves a traditional lamb that is best accompanied by a frosty pisco sours or a Chilean carmenere
